1. I strongly believe in luck, and if I work harder, it seems like I get a lot of luck.

3. This quote matters because it teaches us that those who don't work have a low chance of getting luck. Luck goes hand-in-hand with hard work. Whenever you work hard, more opportunities open up. That is where the luck comes from. The luck that you receive might help you out on whatever you are doing.
I have experienced this firsthand. I worked hard on studying for the AP History exam. I spent nights looking at review videos, looking at my notebook, and reading my history book. When I took the exam, all the questions were based on the things I did study; I considered myself lucky that I could easily answer everything. My AP score was 4.

We need to apply hard work into our lives to guarantee we'll succeed. There is no time to slack off and believe everything will be handed to you; nothing in life is ever that easy. We need to be motivated in life and work hard. If we want something, we have to try our hardest to succeed. There's no guarantee that we'll get everything that we want, but there is one that we'll get most of it if we work hard for our goals.

3)This matters because when you put hard work and effort into what you do you will have more luck. I honestly dont see it as luck i see it more as blessings. The more you put work into whatever it is that you do the more blessings you have. At the same time God already blesses you even when you dont deserve it or do what he says. Because of God's grace you can live life abundantly.
I can apply this to my life by putting more work into becoming a pediatrician. I can start volunteering at hospitals and interview somoeone with the same job. I can also put more work into researching the human body. Putting more effort into things can make life better.It can also put blessings in my life.

This matters because if you want to have a great future you have to contribute .Also,someone once told me that if you work hard you can create your own luck.I think that usually luck comes to people because of how they handle their buisness. Think about , what person you know received luck by sitting on their bottoms. People who receive luck actually worked hard for it.
I can apply this to my life because hardwork goes a long way in life. My luck that I will receive will come to me because I earned it . When Thomas Jeferson wrote this quote I think he meant that once he started to apply himself to his future he received great powerful positions in life. He inspired me to keep on going with my education and personal things because in the end I will get something positive in return. This is how I can apply the quote to my beautiful young life.
My aunt Demetria proved that Mr. Jefferson's quote is true. She studied every night and day. Hardwork really does pay off because now she is successful Social Worker in New York . When she first began to work she worked to her extreme power and as she began to consistently work hard , she had an ofer to work in New York. Of course she took the job and now she is making more money than she ever imagined. Thomas jefferson quote is absolutly true! :)

3)Personally, I want to become a Civil Engineer someday. This quote surely applies to my life. It is because luck would not take me to become a Civil Engineer, or maybe it will but the possibility is so little. In order for me to become an Engineer, I need to work hard for it. Some things I can do while it is still early are paying attention to my Mathematics class, volunteering or doing interships, and maybe talking to real Civil Engineers. I have experienced this when i play tennis. Tennis is not an easy sport andf the more effort i would put in i would get bettter. I worked hard that when it came to games i would always win. This is a form of perspective. To view things in a positive light like Jefferson can benefit your motivation to continue striving for you goals. Luck isd not random. You can achieve luck. When you decide to change your perspective you can also be deciding to change your life. There are many other this can be beneficial.
Take for a example a person working hard to finish a paper at night versus the student that wants to sleep instead of write. There is an advertisement on T.V and internet that offers a free scholarship to the first 20 that sign up. The student staying up late will be able to grasp this opportunity yet the student sleeping will have missed his chance. Luck is being in the right place at the right time. The harder you work, the higher your chance becomes at encountering luck.

In my entire life, i have always been told to never stop moving forward and working. In many of my classes, especially English and Math, in order to get the grades i want, effort is required. I realized the more i work for it, and when the test comes, what lay in front of me are things that i have known by heart. Luck is defined as having an advantage when facing a certain situation or doing a certain thing. I obtain an advantage on my test when i know all the methods needed to complete the test, which means i have obtained luck. That's luck to me. It doesn't come randomly, it comes when efforts have come before it.

Nothing should be overlooked in fighting for a better future.

I believe in luck and as well as hard work. They both get you to success and a positive connotation. They both require belief and the work. They can be seen as something different. One example it can be seen in is in a sport.
Such as in a basketball game, imagine your team is two points down from winning the championship there are 5 seconds on the clock your team has to score a three pointer to win it all. You have been training your team everyday 2-3 a day. He is rushed and the only way to make it is if he makes the shot now. So he does and he makes it and wins the game. That was luck right along and hard work because he has been working everyday for that game and he had a one in ten shot in making the shot and winning the game.
